Meet our Administration Team
Ms. Megan Peterson
Ms. Peterson has spent the last 30 years in education. She began her professional career as a high school English teacher before joining Manteca Unified School District as a high school administrator. As a teacher, Ms. Peterson maintained various responsibilities, including serving as a coach, Activities Director, Accreditation Coordinator, and Department Chair.
During her tenure with MUSD, she served as a Vice Principal for three years and an Assistant Principal for 18 years. Ms. Peterson has been an active member of the District's QISA (Quality Instruction for Student Achievement) team, leading the English Department for nearly 20 years. She has also served on the District Negotiating team and the MUSD Reclassification Committee.
I am incredibly excited to continue to lead the Buffalo Family toward continued success. As I shift from interim to appointed principal, I look forward to further developing working relationships with our outstanding teaching and support staff to create new ways for all kids to grow. At Manteca High, my priority is to ensure students not only achieve academically but can find their place and thrive.
