As a student at Manteca High, I was lucky enough to have an art teacher who inspired me to continue to improve and really pursue art. That led me to a career illustrating children's books, comic books, board games, and more projects than I can remember. I hope that coming back as a teacher I can do the same for the students that come into my classroom.

This is my 24th year of teaching in Manteca Unified. At MHS I served as Band Director and Guitar teacher in 2001-2003. Now I'm the piano teacher and Choir Director.
Cody Marchetti
Cody Marchetti is an educator, composer, and arranger based in the Central Valley of California. He is currently the director of bands at Manteca High School in Manteca, California where he instructs two levels of bands and a guitar course. Marchetti previously taught general music, band, and choir at the elementary and junior high levels. He graduated from California State University, Stanislaus with a Bachelor's Degree of Music in Music Education with honors in 2017 and earned a single subject music teaching credential in 2018. As a composer and arranger, Marchetti has had his music performed by elementary, middle, and high school bands from around the United States as well as professional groups such as the Paradise Winds from Tempe, Arizona and Townsend Opera from Modesto, California. As a performer on low brass instruments, he toured with the Blue Devils Drum and Bugle Corps Organization, where he served as a euphonium section leader, soloist, small ensemble performer, and won a DCI world championship. Marchetti is a member of NAfME, CBDA, NCBA, and Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia.
